| Tobacco Cessation Program | |
The Cypress Health Region cares about the well-being of our residents and wants to protect our clients, staff and visitors from the health risks associated with tobacco use and exposure to secondhand smoke. One of our goals is to promote and reinforce a tobacco free lifestyle. No smoking or tobacco use of any kind is permitted in Cypress Health Region buildings or on the grounds, 24 hours a day. This includes hospitals, treatment centers, primary care and public health facilities owned by the Cypress Health Region. Upon admission to any hospital within the region, patients/clients will be asked about tobacco use and will receive brief tobacco cessation counseling. If you would like to stop using tobacco, talk with your health care provider or pharmacist. For more information on the province of Saskatchewan's tobacco reducation strategy, please click here. |
