Long Term Care in the Cypress Health Region has a mission to provide quality professional care so that all residents in our facilities receive the most comfortable stay possible. A total of 484 Long Term Care beds are provided throughout twelve facilities. Activities and services offered at these facilities are planned and implemented with the greatest amount of care and attention to individual needs to ensure that all residents enjoy their new home. To ensure a safe and healthy environment for everyone, we have designated the health region as a smoke-free environment.
Services offered may include: dining room service, mail service to your room, laundry, beauty parlor/salon, church services, newspaper delivery, bus transportation, trust accounts and many more. An additional fee may be applied to some of the services, so residents and families are requested to check with the facility’s administration.
Respite Care Program
Respite care offers a planned period of temporary care to persons who normally reside at home, and who are dependent on family members/supporters for intermittent or continuous care. The objectives of the program are to provide relief and support to family caregivers; to promote wellness and health for respite participants; to suport individual preferences for community living; and to maximize existing resources for long term care and extend these community resources.
