Services Provided
• Individual friendship, support and guidance from a volunteer mentor.
• Social – educational opportunities.
• Mentor training and support.

These services are provided to families at moderate risk who are
• pregnant or
• parenting a preschooler.

The goals of the program are to optimize:
• Children’s health; behavior, and physical, social and emotional development.
•The parent’s child-rearing knowledge and skills.
•The parent’s life choices and personal goal attainment.
