Palliative Care
• Provides compassionate, personalized care to the client for whom treatment aimed at cure is no longer appropriate
• Respite - Home Care Aides and/or volunteers provide a break for family members caring for relatives at home
• Offers physical, psycho-social and spiritual support to the client and family
• Follow-up bereavement support
** No charge to the client for Nursing or Social Work services; however, there is a charge for Home Care Aide services (exception - no charge in last two weeks of life)
