Long Term Care in the Cypress Health Region has a mission to provide quality professional care so that all residents in our facilities receive the most comfortable stay possible. A total of 484 Long Term Care beds are provided throughout twelve facilities. Activities and services offered at these facilities are planned and implemented with the greatest amount of care and attention to individual needs to ensure that all residents enjoy their new home. To ensure a safe and healthy environment for everyone, we have designated the health region as a smoke-free environment.
Services offered may include: dining room service, mail service to your room, laundry, beauty parlor/salon, church services, newspaper delivery, bus transportation, trust accounts and many more. An additional fee may be applied to some of the services, so residents and families are requested to check with the facility’s administration.
Day Program
Day Program is designed for adults living in the community who require supervision and socialization to enhance their quality of life. It provides relief for person’s caregivers or allows caregivers to maintain employment while caring for a family member at home. The program offers a varied schedule of activities for people to get involved in, such as, daily exercise, listening to local musical groups, games, discussion groups, etc. Trained staff are available throughout the day to provide supportive and supervised activities.
