Background:

In July, 2010, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS) informed the Cypress Health Region of concerns regarding some diagnostic imaging interpretations completed as part of a routine quality assurance review through the Diagnostic Imaging Quality Assurance Program (see more on DIQAP below).  The region initiated immediate action to protect patient safety, leading to a review of all CT exams from October 2004 to May 2010.
